What is evangelion without armor?

Evangelion is a Japanese mecha anime series that was produced by Gainax and Tatsunoko Productions. It tells the story of a post-apocalyptic world where giant humanoid beings called "Angels" are threatening to destroy everything. To combat them, a secretive organization created bio-mechanical weapons called "Evangelions."

The main character of the series is a teenage boy named Shinji Ikari who is recruited by his distant and estranged father, Gendo Ikari, to pilot an Evangelion unit and fight the Angels. The series explores various themes, including existentialism, the nature of consciousness, and the effects of trauma on individuals.

The Evangelion units are controlled by human pilots who must synchronize their minds with their Evangelions, a process called "plugging in." Without their armor, the Evangelions resemble giant humanoids with sharp teeth and claws. They also possess superhuman strength and agility.

The series has gained a cult following and is widely regarded as one of the most influential and groundbreaking anime series of all time.
